Our Ministries
Here at New Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church (NPS) we are a group of born-again believers committed to serving. Each member is encouraged to be apart of a ministry and each ministry is on Mission!
Our ministries involve Christian Education, Discipleship, Service and Outreach. As we seek to glorify God and reach humanity through ministry, there is plenty of room for more dedicated disciples for the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few! (Luke 10:2) There is room for you to serve among our auxiliaries, departments,missions and various units of New Popular Springs Missionary Baptist Church.

Deacons
The Deacons serve as spiritual servants of the church, supporting the pastor and congregation through faithful leadership, prayer, and service. They assist in maintaining order in worship, caring for the needs of the membership, and strengthening the unity of the church body. Their ministry reflects humility, commitment, and obedience to the Word of God.

Deacon Wives
The Deacon Wives ministry supports the work of the deacons through service, encouragement, and Christian example. They assist in matters of hospitality, care, and ministry support as needed within the church. This ministry models faithfulness, cooperation, and dedication to God’s work.
Men’s Department
Laymen
The Laymen ministry provides men of the church an opportunity to grow spiritually and serve faithfully in the life of the congregation. It focuses on Christian leadership, discipleship, stewardship, and active support of the church’s mission. The Laymen work alongside church leadership to strengthen the church and impact the community for Christ.
Women’s Department
Matrons
The Matrons ministry is devoted to spiritual growth, service, and support within the church and community. It emphasizes prayer, Christian living, and mentorship through a godly example. The Matrons uphold the mission of the church through faithfulness and compassionate service.
Missionaries
The Missionary ministry is committed to spreading the gospel through prayer, outreach, and service. Members support local and broader mission efforts while ministering to those in need. This ministry reflects the call to serve, give, and witness in obedience to Christ.
Pearls
The Pearls ministry focuses on spiritual development, fellowship, and service among women within the church. It encourages growth in faith, Christian character, and active participation in ministry. The Pearls seek to honor God through unity, learning, and service.
Youth Department
Crusaders
The Crusaders ministry nurtures spiritual growth and biblical understanding among youth. It provides opportunities for learning, worship, and service within the church. This ministry helps guide young people in developing a strong foundation in Christ.
Red Circle
The Red Circle ministry encourages youth involvement through fellowship, faith-building activities, and Christian education. It supports spiritual development while promoting unity and participation in church life. This ministry helps youth grow in their relationship with God and the church.
Sunbeams
The Sunbeams ministry introduces children to the love of God through age-appropriate biblical teaching and activities. It lays an early foundation of faith, worship, and Christian values. This ministry seeks to nurture young hearts in the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
